This blog is written for the sole purpose of sharing my appreciation for the people in my professional life that make me want to be a better person and who help me take my business to new heights.
I couldn’t talk about appreciation without mentioning my wonderful team. You may not know, but I’m heavily involved in organized dentistry at the local, state and ADA (American Dental Association) level. As you might expect, this means I rely heavily on my team to help keep me organized, focused, and to be my eyes and ears in the practice.
Meet Julie, our Front Office Manager and multi-tasker extraordinaire. I admire Julie’s patience and her unwavering kindness and compassion. I’ve never seen her have a bad day.
Next, meet our Dental Assistant Michelle. If you’ve ever been a patient in our office you know that Michelle has never met a stranger because everyone is a friend. Her ability to get to know people and find common ground is amazing.
Last up in our team introductions is Dayna. Not only is she an outstanding hygienist, she is extremely driven, goal oriented and tough. You’ll find her working out over her lunch hour because she knows how precious time is.
It is an honor and a joy to work with these dedicated professionals and the bonus: They help me reach another goal of mine…to laugh every day!
In March I’ll be celebrating 3 years in my practice. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention another key group of people…our patients! I love dentistry, but it’s our patients that I really look forward to seeing every day.
Our patients are also one of the biggest reasons I strive to live out my purpose, set and attain lofty goals, and be the dental professional that they trust.
It’s only been three years but my patients make me feel like we’ve been friends forever.
I love that!
